Schneider Kreuznach Super-Cinelux 35/2 MC

One thing I didn't expected about this lens is the size, I thought it has smaller/shorter barrel than 62,5mm ES cinelux. I was wrong. It's longer, and even has heavier hood. make it handsome lens though.

So far, the results ;

• Sharp as expected
• It has relative wide dof, good for indoor meeting, streetshot etc.
• Nice flare
• some CA appear which is acceptable

Yashinon 3,2cm/1,7

The Yashica half17 was a nice little camera, and deliver good results (samples with Fuji superia200 HERE ). unfortunately it was fallen, blades and shutter mechanism went error. So I decided to dissamble the lens then put it in use with NEX.
Yashinon 3,2cm/1,7 is an old lens, as long as not against strong light, it can deliver nice color/contrast. But even in strong backlight situation detail can be captured well, despite of poor contrast.
Is it sharp? Yes..fom wide open.

Carl Zeiss Skoparex 35/3,4. Icarex BM

My lil bro got Carl Zeiss Icarex Bayonet camera set with 3 lenses. He asked me to test it. 

This is the Skoparex 35/3,4. I read that this lens was made by Voigtlander  and it famous as a decent lens.

I dont have adapter for it, so I put M39-M42 ring on it and glued it fro temporary use.

All shot at wide open.

Tested against strong light, nice flare.

Yashica ML 35/2,8

Yashica ML series lenses are known as the best of Yashica. Some say they build ML Series with Zeiss formula. So this 35/2,8 lens is called poor man's Distagon 35/2,8.
MFD is written 0.3m, not close enough for macro.

Successor of Meyer Lydith 30/3,5 which I believe improved. specially in Coating. Lydith often prone to lack of contrast and flare too much. Sharpness and bokeh is same.

Schneider Kreuznach Curtagon 35/2,8 black

I just got this lens in Exakta mount.
As expected from the brand, natural color, and lovely bokeh.

CZ Distagon 35/1,4 HFT rollei

The rare Distagon 35/1,4 HFT produce triangle shape bokeh which come from same shape blades. it only came in Rollei QBM mount. C/Y version mount has no such shape.

This  tiny lens is for Kodak Retina cam, not common lens in Indonesia. It can be attached in DSLR. I have the DKL-Canon EOS adapter for it.
Funny thing for me at first touch, there's no aperture ring on lens! I was confused. My friend told me that aperture controlled by the adapter.

aus Jena Flektogon 35/2,8 M42 Black

I had my early Zeiss lens last year. It's CZ Jena Flektogon 35/2,8 silver/alu finish. It was sold.
Now I just received Black version branded with  aus Jena.

Comparison between Flektogon 35/2,4 & 35/2,8 ( this lens)

From that table we can see that this lens has shorter close distance. It's effect on macro objects.
Multi coat on f 2,4 one is reallly make different. produce more rich color better contrast etc. Well... the price is double, sometimes more.
