CZ Visionar 84/1,6 again

I have posted about this lens when it still in original shape in HERE
It was cut and I made a 52mm screw on back part, to fit my 52mm helicoid.

How to attach ROW Visionar 77/1,6 on Sony NEX?

Some people asked me how to use

All you need are;

1. the lens ...Visionar 77/1,6
2. 52mm metal hood
3. 52-42 helicoid
4. thin 42-nex adapter

Carl Zeiss Jena Visionar 1,6/55

As you might know, Visionar series of projector lenses were sold under ROW and Zeiss brand. This is the first one I have with Zeiss brand. Appearance looks similar with other Visionars I have.

Very heavy lens LOL. This was the original lens,

it's hard to get infinity or even for portrait. So I had to cut the back part of the body. (around 3cm) but it need 0,5cm more to get infinity if I want to use it with Zhongyi lensturbo (EF_NEX)+helicoid adapter

For portrait range distance, this lens is sharp (keep in mind, this has no blade)
for closer distance I got glowing.

Rathenower optische werk joined to Zeiss Factory in the past. This lens also sold under Zeiss name too. 
No aperture, no focusing ring. so all wide open of course :D
