Another reason to have Leica lens is,

Good control in light, even in very high contrast situation, it can show the dark side. Other lens just show black/dark

Leitz Wetzlar Elmarit R 90/2,8

I had a chance to took Leits Elmarit 35mm and 90mm in about same price. I choose this lens. The lens was in higher price before. It was crossed to my mind to bought Voightlander 90/3,5 in same range of price. Then the seller lower the price of elmarit 90mm so that I couldn't refuse to bought it. Now, I'm not regret my decision. It's a great lens.

Leitz Wetzlar Summicron R 50/2

I was curious with brand named " Leica"

Why so many people recommend this name for best result of photography. The price is quite high for Leica. So when I had the money and a friend offered this lens.Why don't grabbed it?
First impression; They right about details. Leica is Leica not just lens. That tag is resound... 
Not as sharp as Yashica 50/2 but, the detail, especially at infinity is amazing.

One thing that make different with other lenses and perhaps increase its value is it can reduce noise in high ISO. Here's sample in ISO 1600 with Canon 1000D

A friend tried this lens, when I got it. He said, it's crazy! details and handling light is amazing!
Took a picture of a candle (There were blackout in da house) with this lens and FD 50/1.4 SSC. Summicron handle the flare very good. The FD cann't do that.

Bagian yg gelap seharusnya ga keliatan tuh wajah2nya (kl pk lensa lain)

pake Summicron nampak jelas detail, meski dalam bayangan kontras yang sangat tinggi. Tambahan lg ini motret dr balik kaca bus yang sedang berjalan.
