Thie enlarger lens has short flange, only in Sony e-mount and others with shorter flange camera this lens reach infinity. The problem is, it has big barrel that it cannot be mounted on helicoid nicely.

My friend modified this enlarger lens, so that I can use it on my thinnest helicoid.

He cut the rear part of barrel, and put a part of m42 extension tube on it.

Always amazed with it's sharpness

Petri Kuribayashi cc 50/2 & Lens turbo

The lens was in Petri bayonet, then modified to M42.
I use it on my Sony Nex 5 and Zong Yi lens turbo 1rst gen.
No degradation in term of sharpnes at center with this combo.
